Clothes moth / Tineola bisselliella

Inhabits residential buildings, museums, warehouses with furs and wool.


Mating takes place on the first day or the next day, usually in the evening. Mating butterflies sit motionless, mainly in dark places. After 4 - 10 hours, the female begins to lay eggs. After the end of oviposition, the butterfly lives 4 - 6 days.

Clutch lasts 5-7 days, during which 60 to 100 eggs are laid. Moths appear 6 days after oviposition.
